We left Thursday and stopped in Hamden, CT. Visited the Eli Whitney House museum in the morning. Neat place. It’s housed in the armory that Eli Whitney used to make muskets around 1800. It was the first use of interchangeable parts in mass production. Now it’s an education center. There were kids there preparing for a Da Vinci machine competition. One of them broke away and showed us what they were doing.
Then to Seth and Becky’s for Lila’s family gathering for a Passover Seder meal. Had a great time with Seth’s parents and 2 kids, Emma and Levi. Adam (Lila’s son) and Ann and their 2 kids, Sam and Abe rounded out the crowd. What a great meal and they do a good job of including the kids in the readings and observation. Finished off with birthday cake for Seth. Hope to be invited again next year.
